Favourite Boho Pieces: IKEA Edition

 

Hello everyone and welcome to my first ever blog post!

As you will soon figure out throughout my blogging journey, I am the biggest IKEA fan (I mean, who doesn't love IKEA?) and thought it was only right that my first ever blog post should be about (surprise, surprise) IKEA!

When it comes to boho items, IKEA has really stepped up their game during these past years and a lot of these items have become extremely popular, so I thought I should share with you some of my favourite pieces. 

SINNERLIG Hanging Lamp

This lamp is probably the most popular boho style item available at IKEA and it's gorgeous!

It is so simple and yet enough to tie a whole room together, weather it's your bedroom or your living room, this hanging lamp will be the perfect addition, the perfect finishing touch, to help create a cozy and comfy environment. 

NILSOVE / NORMA Dining Chair

This dining chair is stunning and would be such a cute addition to a boho style dining room.

You could have a bunch of them around the table, pick all different boho style dining chairs to mix and match, or even have chairs on one side of the table and a bench on the other - The possibilities are endless! 

SNIDAD Basket

It's time for one of my personal favourites!

This basket is stylish and useful, it's the perfect combination between decor and storage.

It's great to have in your living room, to help keep all the pillows and blankets in place!

BURVIK Table

This little table is perfect to use as a nightstand or as a side table to keep next to the couch in your living room, and the handle around it makes it so easy to carry from one place to the other, it's such a useful item! 

HEJNE Bookshelf

I also really like this item, mainly because it's so versatile!

You can use it as a bookshelf (which is probably its most common use), but you can also use it for some shelf decor in your bedroom or your living room, or as a place to keep your towels and all of your products in your bathroom, and, if you live somewhere that doesn't have a designated pantry space, you can even use it for that!

STAFFANSTORP Mirror

This mirror is one of the most recent items available at IKEA and I think it will be a success!

It's so simple I feel like it can go practically anywhere in the house!

GOTTORP Lamp

I really like this lamp, it's small and simple, perfect to keep on your nightstand!

BUSKBO Chair

This is also one of the most popular boho style items available at IKEA and I can see why.

It's one of those pieces of furniture that feels like it can go LITERALLY ANYWHERE.

Bedroom? Living room? Office? Even outside in the garden?

Yes, yes, yes, and yes!

KNIPPARV Pillow

I obviously had to include a pillow on this list.

I love anything that can help a space feel cozier, and that's when any kind of pillow or blanket comes to play!

This pillow is so simple and cute, and the perfect little boho item to help tie your bedroom or living room together, weather you choose to place it on your bed or your couch, it will be a great addition to the place.

BJÖRKSNÄS Chest of Drawers

This chest of drawers is so simple and perfect to spice up with a little bit of decor on top.

 Add some neutral tone and white decorations paired with a few golden items, hang a few prints on the wall, and you can create a cute little space on top of these drawers, and, if you're into DIY projects, this item is perfect for that as well and there's a lot of different inspiration going around online - Give it a try!
